TIBETAN TO-DO LIST

Set sail on still water

Recover what was never lost

Let birth follow death

Sleep on a burning bed

Love your enemies

Reap from the fallow

Walk around in circles

Exhale

Drink from a broken cup

Tell stories in a foreign tongue

Embrace the inevitable

Be useful or do nothing

Finish what cannot be completed

Complete the abyss.

NOISE IS A SELFISH GLORY

The children and old folks were awakened

By the aggressive burr of a motorcycle.

Somewhere out there rides

A phantom in his glory.

The children are excited imagining themselves

On the open road with no curfew.

The old folks pray for the biker's

Motor to die.

If it's not a racing bike,

It will musically fade off into the night.

Sound,  when uses properly, is therapeutic.

It glides gently through our ears

To enhance dreams.

Noise is a rude crackle of confusion.

It is detrimental to all forms of healing

And sleep is one of them.

"If the English Language Were a Drink"

English Fine European Language.

Made from an exclusive blend of Old Norse, Old French, and Latin,

with a generous dash of exotic words.

Enjoyed by connoisseurs in such classic recipes as

the William Shakespeare and the Emily Dickinson.

For Franz Liszt:

    Extravagant Piano Virtuoso

All that fancy flamboyant

Fire, fun, fury, and sassy

Flim-flam fandango flash-dash
Tickles my whimsy,

Brights my blue-eyed giddylights,
Sings my blood and skin-heat

Sweetsong-racing -
      Get 'em Franz,
          My god, you were

                         A beauty!

Glory be to the Founder,

and to the Managers,

and to the Board,

as it was since Incorporation,

is now,

           and ever shall be

Amen
